Born into a Christian family in Northern Ireland, J.M. (Jim) Flanigan was received into the Parkgate Assembly, East Belfast in 1946. In 1972, he felt called of God to devote all his time to the work of the Lord.
Most of his service has been in the ministry of the Word, travelling widely in the British Isles, U.S.A., Canada, Australia and Israel, in which he has a special interest. He is the author of many excellent expository books and is a regular contributor to several of the well-known assembly magazines.
