Robert Lindsted, Ph.D. (Mechanical Engineering), taught for nine years in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. As an engineering consultant, he worked with over 100 companies on various products. Since leaving the University in 1979, Rob has been devoted full time to the Lord's work. He has spoken at Bible Conferences, Prophecy Conferences and Youth Camps in over 35 states, Canada, Scotland, Jamaica and the Bahamas.

Rob especially enjoys working with young people and is currently the Principal of Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita. The Academy now enrolls over 850 students from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade, and includes a Childcare Facility for ages 1-4. In addition to his involvement in the local assembly, Rob is a regular speaker on the daily radio program entitled "Bible Truth". During the last several years over 300,000 tapes have gone out from radio programs and conference messages.

In 1985, Rob's first book, The Next Move, was published. Other books by Dr. Lindsted include: The Certainty of Bible Prophecy, Travel Guide to Israel, Can You Really Know Your Future?, and The Power of the Cross.

One of Dr. Lindsted's greatest concerns in the last fifteen years has been to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to countries with an open door. He took his first trip to the former Soviet Union in 1991 with 37 other Christians. His heart was stirred as he saw the conditions of the country and the people's spiritual hunger for God's Word and thus "Milk & Honey Ministries" was formed. At the present time over 5,000,000 Bibles, Gospels of John, and other tracts have been handed out to the Russian people.

In 1993, Milk & Honey Ministries expanded its ministry by taking the Word of God into Communist China. In March of that year a small group, including Dr. Lindsted, hand-carried 770 lbs. of literature into China. This work continues with missionaries stationed in Hong Kong and groups going into China several times a year.

In the last few years, the ministry has taken another step by helping to start four International Christian Schools. These schools use the Bible as their main textbook and are an excellent way to spread the Gospel. Current schools include Romania, Bolivia, The Amazon Jungle, and Burma. There are actually two schools in the military dictatorship of Burma (now called Myanmar). One is a nursery school that caters to families in towns that can afford an English education. The other is located at an orphanage on the outskirts of town. Committed to housing, clothing, and feeding these precious children three meals a day, every day, and supplying them with teachers and a Christian curriculum, we truly believe that these kids will eventually win Burma for Christ, and that is their goal. At the present time, there are 100 children living in the orphanage with more on their way! Please pray for this ministry! Dr. Lindsted's daughter, Pam, now lives in Burma and is married to the director of the orphanage there where she coordinates the education of the children.

Milk & Honey Ministries is currently involved with the countries of Romania, China, Burma, Honduras, Bolivia, Russia, Israel, Brazil and Paraguay.

Rob was born in 1946 and raised in Kansas. He and his wife Sharon have three children; Pam, Byron, and Kyle, and six grandchildren as of 2005.
